As Founder and CEO of One Bullet Entertainment (1BE), I built the agency to combine decades of experience crafting brand strategies for global companies with a lifelong passion for music and a boots-on-the-ground background in entertainment. After years of watching both artists and brands struggle to break through the clutter, I set out to create a new model—one that cuts the noise, ditches the layers, and focuses on high-impact, direct-to-talent brand partnerships.

I’m also the Founder and CEO of New Heartland Group (NHG), a Nashville-based brand-building agency that was first to identify the New Heartland as a distinct cultural segment. NHG helps brands connect with the 60% of U.S. consumers living in the Midwest, Southwest, and Southeast by understanding their values, passions, and everyday realities. I’ve authored three books, published a few white papers, and spent over a decade writing for Forbes on brand strategy. Some call me the leading voice in New Heartland marketing—others probably call me other things.

My music career started the scrappy way (the only way I could pay for college) as a college rep for CBS Records while managing a band and touring the Southeast colleges in the back of a Ryder box truck (no seatbelts, lots of stories). That hands-on start turned into a career working with some of the most iconic names and brands in entertainment. I’ve held senior roles at Elvis Presley Enterprises (CMO), SFX Entertainment/Live Nation, Gibson Guitar, and MCA/SBK Records. I’ve also led brand work for Pepsi, Visa, Starbucks, Anheuser-Busch, Mtn Dew, Lipton, and Fritos.

At 1BE, we speak both languages—talent and brand. I’ve worked directly with artists, athletes, and personalities including Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Michael Oher, Luke Bryan, Riley Green, Lady A, Whiskey Myers, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Evander Holyfield, Brantley Gilbert, Bobby Bones, Jason Aldean, and Bill Dance.
